I am an engineering manager in Seattle. For fun I research local history. I recently started a blog of history and data stories. In Fall of 2013 my first book was published, Lost Seattle. The Wedgwood neighborhood in northeast Seattle. In March 1945 during the final battles of World War Two in Europe, a homesick soldier wrote a letter to the Seattle Daily Times newspaper.
